Join us to celebrate the birthday of this beloved novelist. Come dressed in your Regency finest as you are announced at the door. Learn English country dances with simple instruction and then dance the night away with our string quartet!

Regency clothing is encouraged. You can rent outfits from many local theatres or join our sewing classes to make your own outfit. If time has run away from you, ample dresses are available on Amazon. And if you have still found nothing to wear, a simple church dress or suit will suffice. Contrary to the 19th century, there is no judgement to be found at this ball 🙂

We will have a photo backdrop and 360° photo booth to capture this special evening. There will also be a prize drawing for all guests.

And don’t forget about our vendor room where you can purchase various sundries such as bonnets, fobs, cravats, books, and even tiaras!
